This is the backside of an Albino Peacock at the Eden Nature Park in Davao, Philippines. Is “Albino Peacock” an oxymoron?
The colorful feathers are supposed to catch the attention and attract female peacocks — I wonder if this one gets many ladies. It’s as white as a White Leghorn chicken. It definitely attracted a flock of amateur photographers.
Does he have insecurity problems? or does he wear his uniqueness with pride, singing “Born This Way” in his head?
He doesn’t look too happy to be photographed!

Thanks for the pingback! I liked your bubbles on the grass pic, too. Could also be for a distorted entry.

Thanks! Amazing that the other “usual” peacocks were not getting any attention with him around.
Gorgeous birds! Great photos! I’ve never seen an albino…which, of course, is why it’s unusual! Thanks for a great post!
